PROJECT FUEL STORAGE TERMINAL
DESCRIPTION The Project refers to the implementation (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of the New Fuel Storage Terminal at an island country in the Indian Ocean, South Asia. The main objective of project is the construction of the infrastructure for importing / exporting / bunkering / distribution of four (4) oil products that are used in the Republic of Maldives, i.e. Gasoil, Gasoline, VLSFO and Jet A1. This entails the construction of two Jetties, Jetty A for the berthing of LR1 type vessels with capacity 50,000 – 80,000 DWT, Jetty B constructed to accept cargo vessels of 350-12,000 DWT. The construction of a Harbor has also been foreseen for the berthing of five (5) barges of up to 300DWT.
